Predicted about $1 billion investment by Google to build satellites for internet access

As well all knows that Google is now turning in to provide internet access. To give reality to this aim they have targeted about $2 to $3 billion for building satellites According to current information, this project will kick off with 180 “small, high-capacity satellites”.

Currently they are doing experiments with helium balloons. To give success to this project Google has hired Brian Holtz and Dave Bettinger who has detailed know-how for communication satellites.

However, other side facebook also expanding its wings in drones, satellites and lasers to offer internet access to all regions where there is no internet access. So, ultimately both facebook and Google are in race of being most powerful for bringing more people online by offering widely acceptable options of internet access.
