iPhone handsets are hacked in Australia by demanding $100
Yesterday on 27th May 2014, iPhone users in Australia are suffered from hacking. According to them, they got this unexplained attack for their iPhones and iPads; however, they are demanding them to pay $100.
As per current research, it has been reviled that this hacking become possible due to laziness with iClous accounts which are associated with disabled devices. The hacking screen was with message like “Device hacked by Oleg Pliss. For unlock device, you need send voucher code by 100 usd/eur (Moneypack/Ukash/PaySafeCard) to email:firstname.lastname@example.org for unlock."
However, users who put the strong password they are able to recover by just resent their handset. Some statements for this incident come up like “Apple IDs and passwords have been compromised so that attackers can remotely lock connected devices using Apple's Find My iPhone service”.
However, still is not clear that how hackers are possible to do hacking with iCloud accounts.
