Canonical announced that Ubuntu for Android currently not under active development
Recently, Canonical has announced that due to having some other works on priorities currently Ubuntu for Android is no longer under development. Firstly, this new was leak by the via a public bug report; however, later on it was followed by Canonical.
According to the company’s statement, “They still believe that U4A is an immense concept as well as consumers would welcome the feature. Moreover, the U4A is complete but need of launch partner for completing some pending modifications on the Android side.
Recently, Canonical released Ubuntu 14.04 LTS edition for desktops and servers. Fir this achievement their statements are like that this will bring a single practice with apps which can work across all multiple Ubuntu devices.
